Veronica was born and raised in Arizona and has been in the veterinary field for over a decade.
Starting her career in rescue adoptions, Veronica quickly found a passion for the medical side of things, so she pursued a technician position. After many years of running high volume surgery in both technician and managerial roles, Veronica decided to focus on cultivating long term patient relationships at Palo Verde.
When not at work, Veronica enjoys spending time with her daughter, reading, and making jewelry. She has two long-haired chihuahuas, Carmen and Tig, who are spoiled rotten.
Certified Veterinary Technician
Yolanda was born in Spain and grew up in Germany, living across the street from a German farm. Her mom used to make her go across the street every morning to get fresh milk and she would always go feed carrots to the resident horse. That is when her love of animals started. She was a dog sitter for many years in Germany as well. After her family moved from Germany to Illinois, she spent summers on her Grandparent’s farm helping take care of the horse they had on their farm, Ginger. As a child, she grew up wanting to open a vet practice in the basement of her Great Aunt Judy and Great Uncle Mike’s house in Illinois.
Yolanda graduated from Kaplan College with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2013 and received her certification in 2015. She is a mom of 2 kids and enjoys working out, hiking and spending time with her family.

Hi, I am Melanie. I love my profession with a passion. I love being a part of a team that cares so much for their patients and clients. I got into this profession for my love for animals! I started at Palo Verde Animal Hospital in September 2000 and left to work from home in September 2021, missing the clinic and clients I came back to in March of 2022. When I’m not in the clinic I enjoy photography, reading and keeping up with my granddaughter Daisy. I share my home with a crazy Pug named Buddha Da Pug, and 4 cats, Banana, Missey, Oogie and Tobias.
Cindi is a 4th generation Arizona native. She grew up on a cattle ranch in southern Arizona where she decided at a young age she wanted to be in veterinary medicine. In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her husband, 3 dogs Juno a 19 year old beagle, Luci a 2 year old heinz 57, Nina a 8 year old tiny chihuahua, Teddy her cat, Frost the quarter horse and Scout the painted horse.
Cathy lived most of her life in Florida and moved to Phoenix in 2013. After being a client for several years, she joined our team in May 2019 and could not be happier. When she is not taking care of patients at Palo Verde, she enjoys spending time with her family and being guarded by Dexter, her slightly over-protective Chihuahua.
