Holly feels like animals are her life and she would do anything to help them live the long, healthy lives they deserve.

Animal Caretakers

Kari

Kari has been with Palo Verde Animal Hospital since December 2002! Her interests are animals, tandem bicycle riding, reading, camping, and eating chocolate. Kari is an Air Force brat and has traveled around quite a bit. Her family moved to Glendale, AZ in 1983 and she graduated with her twin sister from Moon Valley High School in 1985. She prefers the company of animals over people, which justifies her longevity here and makes this the perfect occupation for Kari.

Tapanga

Tapanga has recently joined our Palo Verde family as an animal caretaker. She grew up in a household that always had many different animals. When she was just 9, she helped raise two litters of kittens at home and she quickly developed her passion for caring for animals. She and her fiancé currently have one dog and a kitten and hope to adopt many more in the near future! Tapanga also has a strong passion for helping others and is currently going to school to become a Registered Nurse. Even with that goal, she hopes to continue to stay involved in animal care.
